here are some tips on how to care for your new friend to ensure it lasts for years.

- keep your piece out of direct sunlight to preserve the specimens colours/scales.
- store in a dry, cool place (if needed to store away for any reason, add moth balls)
- give the backing of your frame/base of your dome a light mist of insect repellent every 3-4 months.
in the off chance you notice bugs inside your frame/dome, you will need to set up a quarantine area, and freeze your butterfly for a few days to kill any insects that may have hatched from eggs. REPEAT if needed.
